Many customers ask me when is the best time to buy in Saugatuck. This being a wonderful Lake Michigan resort area, people wonder when is the right time to make an offer. It used to be after summer season, there would be more properties on the market for sale when people shuttered up their cottages. Now that people come to Saugatuck to get away from the city at all times of the year there is no one time when there are more listings then others. What I can say is that mortgage interest rates are the best that they have ever been in history and that there are great buys to be had in the area. Mortgage Rates at a Record Low

This week, the average rate on a 30-year fixed mortgage fell to 4.01 percent, mortgage buyer Freddie Mac said in its weekly report. That’s the lowest since it began keeping records in 1971.
Until now, Freddie had pointed to data from the National Bureau of Economic Research showing that rates were lower in the early 1950s, when long-term mortgages typically lasted just 20 or 25 years.
But Freddie says that’s no longer true: Today’s average 30-year rate is even lower than the average 20- or 25-year rate was in the 1950s.

But you can eyeball other HVAC parts and save money on house calls and fuel bills.
